busy busy…

hello! things have been quite busy in my world since i got back from kauai…. so i’m sorry for the lack of posts on my blog.

here’s a few things i’ve been up to….

since shelby helped me with the maternity shoot with Jess, we posted some photos from the first part of our shoot over on joielala photographie….. check those out here.

we’ve also been busy doing some shoots together… check out some peeks at those here and here… and we’re off to do another shoot this afternoon.

i’m working on lots of photos from sessions i’ve had this past month plus some new albums to show you, so lots more coming…. see you soon!

miss jessica is preggers! she’s the cutest pregnant girl and she just radiates happiness! it was so fun taking her photos…

aaron + tamra / maternity portraits / coronado, ca

aaron proposed to tamra a few years back at this spot on coronado island in front of the hotel del… so they decided they wanted to do their maternity portraits in the same location. it was a perfect san diego day… so we got some great shots at this beach location.

i had a great time shooting these two! i’m so happy for them and looking forward to meeting their new bundle of joy who will be coming soon! :)

my little sister’s due date is today, oct 2nd for her first little one… and my family and myself are beyond excited!

she texted me a few hours ago saying she thinks she might be starting to have contractions… so we are just waiting to hear any news from them! anyway… i took some photos of her and her husband (and her cute belly) a few weeks ago and realized today that i still needed to post them!

so here they are….

they are keeping the name a surprise, so we have named her soon-to-be baby girl, baby k (since their last name starts with a k).

wishing for a safe delivery and i can’t wait to meet my new niece! :)

this last one just cracks me up because it pretty much sums up my crazy sister in a nutshell…. it was her idea to start leaping across the beach as she’s 9 months pregnant!

here comes baby…

only a few weeks left until my niece arrives… :) this will be the first baby in our family… so we are all so excited. i took these the other weekend at my sister’s baby shower.

and happy birthday to my amazing prego sister, corrie today!
