    taryn kent photography does everything from wedding photography, portraits, baby & children portraits, pet photography, maternity sessions, and more. I'm based in san diego, but love to travel and will shoot anywhere on planet earth. my style is photojournalistic... i love to capture emotion and let my photos tell a story.

    all my weddings are shot with the help of my good friend scott lawerence... check out his blog for more info on him.

hi! i’m back from vegas. WPPI was amazing. I can’t even begin to explain how much i learned in the 2 days i was there… it was awesome. Scott and i met so many awesome photographers & new friends… and i even had a chance to met a few of my favorite photographers… the brilliant jose villa being one of them. :)

and one word about the airhorns & lasers party — INSANE! we danced our butts off! the flashdance was there and killed it. we had a blast.

I’ll post some photos from our trip soon…

i’m off to portland tomorrow for a few days! be back soon….

off to vegas for WPPI…

i’m off to vegas…. scott and i are heading out early tomorrow morning for 2 days of the WPPI convention/tradeshow. This is the biggest tradeshow for wedding & portrait photographers, so i’m beyond excited to get to go this year! there will be tons of photography vendors to check out… and i hope to meet a few of my favorite photogs! ;)

(and we’re going to the airhorns & lasers party tomorrow night! yay!)

katie and matt are amazing… i had such a fun time shooting their engagement shots this weekend up in venice beach, ca.

it was a crazy day with scattered rain showers that we were constantly dodging, but we ended up getting some great shots. here’s one… more to come soon! congrats to katie & matt!
